Ryan’s passion for supporting young artists to lead themselves and their communities stems from his childhood spent attending YMCA summer camps in Nova Scotia and his 25 year career as a professional musician. Ryan is proud to have Co-founded YAC in 2012 with Artist & Entrepreneur Ann Denny.

Meet our communications, digital and social media whiz. Cavell is a multi-disciplinary artist—graphic designer, dancer, and actor with an education in Marketing. In Addition to his role leading Marketing and Communications at YAC, Cavell is contributed teaching programming, workshops for YAC.

MAJE’s thoughtfulness and depth as a songwriter, performer and entrepreneur is a big part of his facilitation style at HUBHFX. His leadership has helped guide many young artists. An alumni of YAC’s ARTpreneurs program, MAJE not only lives his dream but ensures his community and the next generation is being supported in living theirs as well.

When Victoria isn’t planning and coordinating YAC’s weekly HUBHFX program, she can be found contributing to many art festivals and community causes in Halifax. Her background in business and commerce and her love and dedication for her community makes a big difference for emerging artists in Halifax.
Bean Counter, or Book Keeper — however you swing it, Tracey is a hardworking, dedicated book keeper for small business and the film industry in Halifax. Tracey’s passion and skill for numbers keeps YAC on track, along with a number of other local businesses. Tracey’s experience working in the film industry brings that artistic edge that so many have in the YAC family.
